We appreciate all the great advice and personal experiences you're relating on this blog, but we can't allow people to post private phone numbers. Since this blog is maintained by Comic-Con, we cannot vouch for anyone who posts a room or condo availability and a phone number to call to make a possible reservation. We're sorry, but we will have to take down any comment that leaves a personal phone number or email address.
We've parked at the Padres Parkade. A Comic-Con shuttle stop is right outside the Parkade (on J Street). On Friday and Saturday mornings, it's quicker to walk to the Convention Center due to the traffic, but it's nice to take the air-conditioned shuttle back to the Parkade at the end of the day. The Padres Parkade is easy access to and from the 163 freeway--take the 10th Avenue exit and enter the Parkade from the 10th Avenue side. Exit the Parkade from 11th Avenue side and 11th Avenue will lead to the 163.

Has anyone who's gone to the con in the past parked at Petco Park? If so, how was that experience? We're staying outside of downtown to the north, and I was thinking of driving to the ballpark and parking there. Otherwise we would drive to Mission Valley and park there then take the trolly. Any suggestions?
